Student of Nadia Tagrine and Vlado Perlemuter (CNSM, Paris), François Kerdoncuff is laureate of the Special Jury Prize at the Munic International Piano Competition, 3rd Grand Prize and Special Rachmaninoff Prize at the Marguerite Long International Competition, 4th Prize at the Tokyo International Competition. He also benefited from the guidance of Géza Anda, Gyorgy Sebok, Paul Badura-Skoda, Evgueni Malinin.

François Kerdoncuff appears in many festivals in France (La Roque d'Anthéron, Saint-Denis, Menton, Aix-en-Provence, Nohant, l'Orangerie de Bagatelle, Abbaye de la Prée, Vézère, Fénétrange, etc.).

As a chamber music performer, his partners are, in particular, the Benaïm Quartet, Sine Nomine, Arpeggione, Manfred; violinists Jean-Marc Philips, Nicolas Dautricourt, Jan Orawiec, Alexis Galpérine; cellists Raphaël Pidoux, Henri Demarquette, Lluis Claret, Yvan Chiffoleau, Raphaël Chrétien; singers Mireille Delunsch, Marc Mauillon, Agnès Mellon, Sylvie Sullé, Vincent Le Texier, Brigitte Balleys; comedians Lambert Wilson and Robin Renucci.

Artistic director of a festival in Lanvollon (Côtes d'Armor) for a few years, he also recorded no less that fifteen CDs the Timpani label.

François Kerdoncuff is currently teaching at the CRR de Paris.
